Getting There
From Beaver, head east into the Tushar Mountains on forest roads toward Manning Meadows Reservoir. Dispersed pull-offs are scattered through the surrounding meadows and forest as you approach the small reservoir.
What to Expect
High-elevation meadow and forest camping in one of central Utah's less-visited mountain ranges, with the Tushars' volcanic peaks rising around you. The small reservoir offers a quiet spot to fish or just sit, and the area sees far less traffic than the Fishlake basin proper.
Good to Know
This is genuinely remote forest camping, come with a full tank and supplies, since services thin out fast once you leave Beaver. Roads can be rough after rain; check current Fishlake National Forest conditions before heading up.
